Rich in the Chinese culture is the use of Chinese medicinal herbs in soups and as supplements for promoting wellness and longevity. Supported by modern research, many of these herbs have been shown to contain major constituents that can contribute to health, such as antioxidants, immune-enhancing agents, vital nutrients. In addition, regular consumption of these herbs can maintain vibrant health and reduce stressors of life as adaptogens.
This evening will introduce and discuss some readily available herbs used in Chinese medicine for wellness and healing.
